Kurt A. Powell is the Managing Partner of the Atlanta Office of Hunton & Williams LLP, an international law firm with over 800 attorneys. Previously, he served for three years as the Co‑Chair of the firm-wide Associates Committee. Kurt is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2006 and has continued his involvement with Leadership Atlanta by serving on its Community Service Project Committee. His practice focuses exclusively on representing management in labor and employment law matters, including employment litigation, trade secret and non-compete litigation. He has extensive experience in civil rights litigation, defending class actions and "mass" actions involving employment discrimination.
