Meghan Magruder is a senior litigation partner in the Atlanta office of King & Spalding. She has more than 20 years experience with emphasis on commercial litigation, insurance coverage and recovery, contract disputes, mass tort defense and environmental litigation. She has been involved in the leadership of the American Bar Association for many years and recently served as a member of the Council of the Section of Litigation. Meghan is past chair of the Children’s Litigation Committee and currently serves as co-chair of the Rights of Children Committee for the Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities. Meghan received her B.A. and J.D. from Emory University and, upon graduation from law school, was awarded the University’s highest award for service, The Marion Luther Brittain Award and the Georgia Association for Woman’s Lawyers Outstanding Female Law Student Award. Following law school, Meghan clerked for Judge Robert Hall (N.D. Georgia) and Judge Dorothy Beasley (State Court Fulton County).
