James A. Gober (Jim) specializes in the area of business litigation, with emphasis on real estate litigation. His degrees are from Emory University, J.D., 1975; Duke, B.A., 1972; and GA State University, M.B.A. 1984.

Jim coordinates AGG's involvement in the AVLF Domestic Violence Project and he volunteers for the AVLF One Child/One Lawyer Juvenile Court Child Attorney Program. In 2004, Jim received the AVLF Break The Cycle Award as the outstanding volunteer for the Domestic Violence Project. Currently, Jim serves as a member of the AVLF Board of Directors.

AVLF awarded AGG the S. Phillip Heiner Award for its extraordinary commitment to providing pro bono services for those in need in metro Atlanta in May 2007. This is the second occasion on which AGG was recognized in that manner.
