After graduating with a B.A. from the University of Rochester, Deborah Ebel earned a MSW from the University of Michigan and went on to receive her J.D. from Emory University. Deborah focuses a significant aspect of her practice on family law including divorce, modifications of custody and support, prenuptials, post nuptials, contempts, custody disputes, adoptions, paternity and legitimation actions, guardian ad litem cases, child abuse and sexual abuse tort actions, parental rights termination actions and third party custody actions. Deborah is also a trained arbitrator and mediator in the Superior Courts of Georgia. During the course of her career, Deborah has received numerous honors and awards for her pro bono activities, especially in her work as a guardian ad litem for children, as well as involvement in various civic and community activities. Deborah is McKenna Long & Aldridge’s pro bono partner in the Atlanta office of the firm.
